GAETANO SCIOLARI   A high glam modernist chandelier from Italy's Gaetano Sciolari. A spectacular example, one of the largest versions produced, featuring a snowflake arrangement of mirror polished steel and lucite. Unlike the organic lyrical forms produced by rivals Arteluce and Stilnovo, Sciolari preferred creating crystalline-like structures of polished steel and lucite, exploring the elements of reflection and refraction, to brilliant effect.
