HENNING KJAERNULF     A rare and magnificent pair of Kjaernulf armchairs executed entirely in richly pronounced Brazilian rosewood. Introduced in 1963, Kjaernulf's design builds upon Hans Wegner's earlier Wishbone chair, adding an upholstered seat-panel, splitting Wegner's Y-shaped brace into triangular forms, and utilizing strikingly beautiful spline joinery to unify the arms into the backrest.
