1950s Floor Lamp

DISDEROT Attribution A large lyrical floor lamp, featuring a perforated brass and woven shade, mounted by a key-adjusted pivot joint to a dramatically arching S-shaped brass post. No manufacturer marks, but presumed to be French in origin. The lamp is finished with a heavy brass ball counterweight, a feature typical of lamps crafted by the legendary French firm Disderot, particularly those designed by Pierre Guariche. SOLD
